Reflector Information

A reflector is an electronic mailing list, or list of email addresses.  Reflectors are commonly used to keep a group of people informed about some subject (such as SCSI issues).  Many members of the technical committees listed below used reflectors to communicate with other members of the group, or anyone that has their email address on the list.

Below are some brief instructions for how to "subscribe" to the various reflectors.

Reflector Name Subscribe/Unsubscribe Address Broadcast to Reflector majordomo/listserv Keyword
T10 (was SCSI) majordomo@t10.org t10@t10.org t10
T10-SSA majordomo@symbios.com t10-ssa@symbios.com t10-ssa
T13 majordomo@dt.wdc.com t13@dt.wdc.com t13
ATAPI majordomo@dt.wdc.com atapi@dt.wdc.com atapi
Fibre Channel majordomo@network.com fc@network.com fc
X3T11 majordomo@network.com x3t11@network.com x3t11
IPI majordomo@network.com ipi@network.com ipi
HIPPI majordomo@network.com hippi@network.com hippi

All of the majordomo and listserv reflectors are automatic. To subscribe or unsubscribe, send a message to the subscribe/unsubscribe address with a line in the message body (not the subject line) of the following format:

command reflector_name [your_email_address]

NOTE: On the reflectors using majordomo, your email address is optional. If you include it and it doesn't match the address in the email headers, there will be a delay while humans verify your email address.
